Adding private investments to your portfolio offers diversification benefits and thereby enhances the overall risk-adjusted performance.

Gain access to investment opportunities that were once reserved for a select few. Our approach is designed to mitigate the challenges posed by how private offerings are distributed by private banks today.

Private banks typically require high minimum investment amounts (e.g. from USD $500,000 onwards) and high fees (e.g. 2-3% upfront fee of the committed capital and/or annual management fee), which erode investors’ overall returns in the long term.

StashAway Reserve commits to offer our Professional Clients a simplified pathway to access top-tier institutional-grade private investments — diligently curated by our experienced investment team.

Frequently Asked Questions

StashAway Reserve is a private wealth management offering. With Reserve, clients can choose from a wide range of wealth advisory services and access private investments.

To become a Reserve client, you have to invest $100,000 USD with StashAway. This amount can be in any of StashAway’s portfolios.

We’ll remind you to invest more in order to meet the required minimum of $100,000 USD. Note that the required minimum refers to the higher amount of either net deposits or total assets (value of portfolio).

Net Deposits (USD)Total Assets (USD)   (Value of Portfolio)Meets Required Minimum?
$100,000 USD$80,000 USDYes
$80,000$100,000Yes
$80,000$90,000No

For example, if you have deposited $100,000 USD with StashAway, but your total assets drop to $80,000 USD due to market fluctuations, we would still refer to the higher amount, which is your net deposits.

Similarly, if you have deposited $80,000 USD, but your total assets have grown to $100,000 USD, we would refer to the higher amount, which is your total assets (value of portfolio).

Once you become a Reserve client, you’ll be assigned a Wealth Advisor whom you can reach out at any time via Whatsapp, email or phone.

Additionally, you get dedicated consultations with your Wealth Advisor.

Wealth discovery session - we’ll get to know you and your financial picture so that we can come up with the right next steps.

In this 1-hour chat, we’ll discuss:

  • Your current financial situation - including income, savings, investments, and other components that make up your financial picture
  • Your short-term and long-term financial goals and objectives
  • Any preferences or hopes you have for your investments
  • Risk profile assessment
  • And anything else that you think might be relevant

A holistic financial planning session - we'll build and create a financial plan over two sessions.

What we’ll go over in your 6-month review:

  • Your portfolio’s performance
  • Any changes that came up recently that could impact your portfolio strategy
  • The progress you’ve made towards your goal(s)
  • Any additional opportunities for your portfolio

You can meet your Wealth Advisor as often as you need to. Your Wealth Advisor can also offer more in-depth sessions once or twice a year. For example, financial planning sessions happen on a yearly basis, and portfolio reviews happen twice a year.

We don't charge any fees for clients to qualify for StashAway Reserve or to gain access to a Wealth Advisor. You are required to maintain a minimum of $100,000 USD investment with StashAway.

The fee model for each of our investment portfolios comes with no hidden charges and no upfront fees.
